Directions

From US 131, take exit 85B (Pearl Street). The Museum is one block east of the highway at the corner or Pearl and Front.

From I-196, take exit 77C (Ottawa Ave/Downtown) proceed south to Pearl St. and turn west. The Museum is just across the river.

Parking

Enclosed parking for the Museum is available in the Museum's ramp across Front St. just south of the Museum's main entrance. Follow Front St. around the corner for the ramp entrance. Museum visitors receive 50% off in the ramp with Museum admission. 

Oasis Café

Take a break from your visit to enjoy a snack or lunch in the Oasis Café, located on the second floor of the Museum. Open daily 10 am - 3 pm, featuring a selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, deserts and a daily special.

Curiosity Shop

Don't forget to stop at the Museum gift shop as you exit! Take home a memento of your visit including Michigan artisan gifts, a large selection of books and toys for children of all ages.

Accessibility

The Public Museum is accessible for visitors with disabilities. Museum guests may use the main elevator, centrally located off of the galleria to access all floors of the Museum. Wheelchairs are available, free of charge, from the front desk on a first come, first serve basis.
